1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Hopinazores (NIF: 518143775) is a company located in Faial Island, Azores, providing tourism experiences and services. This document regulates the use of our digital platforms and the contractual relationship between the company and customers using our services.

2. RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

  • Reservations: Bookings can be made online, by phone, or in person. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • Payments: Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash, depending on the options available at the time of booking. An advance deposit may be required to secure the reservation.

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the scheduled service will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the service are non-refundable.

  • If a service is cancelled by Hopinazores due to weather conditions or operational reasons, the customer may choose between a full refund or rescheduling.

4. SAFETY AND RESPONSIBILITY

  • Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by our guides/staff.

  • Hopinazores is not responsible for accidents resulting from participant negligence.

  • We are not responsible for the loss of personal objects during tours or activities.

  • Any damage caused to equipment or vehicles due to misuse may be charged to the responsible party.

5. PRIVACY POLICY

5.1. Data Collection

When using our services, we may collect personal information including:

  • Name, email, and phone number (for bookings and inquiries).

  • Payment information (processed via secure platforms). Data is used exclusively for booking management and customer communication. We do not share personal information with third parties unless required by law.

We adopt technical measures to protect customer data. However, as no internet transmission is 100% secure, we cannot guarantee absolute security during data transfer.

In accordance with Portuguese Decree-Law No. 24/2014, customers booking remotely have the right to cancel within 14 days. Exception: Per Article 17, point d), the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services with a specific execution date (such as tours and outdoor experiences). For these, our 48-hour cancellation policy (Section 3) applies.
